PAS Deputy President,Mohamad Sabu was charged with criminal defamation at a Sessions Court here on Wednesday.
He was charged under Section 500 of the Penal Code for criminally defaming policemen and soldiers.
Mohamad, popularly known as Mat Sabu, also faces an alternative charge of defaming the family members of policemen and soldiers.
Mohamad, who was picked up in George Town, Penang, on Wednesday night, had earlier been released on police bail of RM15,000.
However, what had attracted me is the news that Mat Sabu running insufficient of cash to pay for the bail. [what?????]
The picture of Sabu and his staunch followers collecting cash ala disaster fund has been circulated by few bloggers which I like to share with all of you..
So why CM Lim Guan Eng did not extend his help to Sabu like how he did using PBA fund earlier??
