In fact, we could not escape from being betrayed and stabbed by our own companions in the struggle.
Jebat Must Die - an epic tale sticks in each of our memory. Unfortunately Hang Jebat was often labelled as a traitor and a rebel in this story. In fact, Hang Jebat is just a pure fighter who wants to avenge not only the death of his friend, Hang Tuah but to fight the injustice ruler , a despot. Speaks about his intention.
Today the debate continues as many defending Hang Jebat as a loyal friend who seeks for justice over his friend's death and a statesman who loved his nation more than himself.
MIC members labelled as gangsters.
I was really taken aback reading statement by the honourable President of MIC , Datuk Seri G.Palanivel who labelled MIC members as hooligans and rowdies . I was present on that day witnessing many other young members together with veterans who demanded Palanivel's resignation.
It was people's uprising gathering last Thursday.
I am pretty much sure that Palanivel understands the fundamental reason of this uprising. WHY?
You can look at the party right now. Only the president and his men are claiming that the party is in good shape whereas the scenario looks otherwise.
The Sultan was not happy with Palanivel.
The people of Cameron Highland were not happy with Palanivel.
The members of MIC are not happy with Palanivel .
The only difference is , the members of MIC chose a platform to show their dissatisfaction.
Divert , blame game
When the Sultan of Pahang sees red over the issues in Cameron Highland , Palanivel immediately responded (the next day) that he is ready to face the ruler and explain the situation briefly .
Why when members of MIC showed their dissatisfaction , Palanivel chose to label them as hooligans and rowdy?
Does Palanivel realise that the core issue here is NOT how they have behaved but WHY they behaved so?
It is due to the ignorance of Palanivel , MIC was ordered to hold re-election (for the first time in history) by RoS with solid and valid 8 reasons. What else can be more shameful and disgracing to a party of 68 years old?
When members approached Palanivel sometime back to discuss about these issue , the President could not be bothered . The members have no choice but to seek RoS interference in order to keep the party's dignity standing upright fighting over dirty politics in MIC.
With 74 days only left for MIC to be deregistred , the President should be focusing on ways to solve this issue amicably. The members want to hear his full page statement of how he is planning to solve this fiasco not giving press statements blaming the disgruntled members to divert the whole attention from his leadership weaknesses.
He often reminds me of a saying I heard some where :
Katak di bawah kaca (modification from ' Katak di bawah tempurung' )
Frog under the glass.
Meaning : A person who can see everything that is happening around but dont understand it.

RoS 's call for re-election had proved that the allegation of fraudulences in MIC is true. Palanivel should admit and move forward to rectify it. Apologise to the members for the disgrace and fix his mistakes as he was the Election Committee Head.
He should stop painting perception to cheat himself that party is in good shape and election was clean.
We members dont mind being labelled as 'Jebat' as we know that we are fighting against injustices to keep our beloved party from further destruction because we know one day the history will speak for itself
